Our mission is to share Christ’s love by being a beacon of hope in downtown Newport News and the surrounding community through worship, dedication, and service.

Our desire is to make disciples for Christ and to assist them in growing in their spiritual walk.  We are committed to:

• God’s Word:  It is though God’s Word that we get to know Christ better (2 Timothy 3:15-4:2).
• Community:  We desire to help our community in a loving and caring way—building relationship and serving each other (Acts 2:42-47).  
• Equipping:  We desire to serve Christ by equipping every member as directed by God’s Word (Ephesians 4:11-16).
• Missions:  We are a Southern Baptist Church, committed to the mission of Christ to take the world the Word of God (Acts 1:8)

We offer adult Bible study through our Sunday School ministry which meets each Sunday at 9:45 AM.  We would love to have you attend.  Additionally, we have a Wednesday Evening Service with dinner at 5:00 PM and Prayer Meeting at 5:45PM.
