York County Church Women United Emergency Food Closet
The Food Closet is a 501(c)(3) organization under the umbrella of the national unit of Church Women United. It serves needy residents of York County and Poquoson and all donations are tax-deductible. The Food Closet respects and serves all clients equally, regardless of race, religious preference, color, sex, marital status, age, national origin, citizenship, or handicap.
Mission Statement:
Jesus commanded, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:25-27)
Our ministry provides loving service to the poor and hungry of
York County and Poquoson, by operating an ecumenical food pantry.
