House of Blessing – Food and Financial Help
This tremendous outreach ministry provides financial assistance and food to families in need, and it also has many opportunities to serve the community by sorting and distributing food and praying for those who are looking for God’s help.
The Bible declares that, “If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness”.
At this time, House of Blessing (HOB) can only assist residents of the City of Chesapeake. However, if you are a member of Harvest Assembly, this ministry will consider assistance, regardless of the city which you reside. Financial assistance is done only by appointment. All requests are taken by voicemail and a phone interview is required before an appointment for financial assistance is made. Your interview and application are kept confidential.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION HOURS
Mondays: 5pm – 7pm
Wednesdays: 9:30am – 11:30am
Fridays: 4pm – 6pm
