Sanctuary of Hope

We are loving church family that is building the Kingdom of God by worshiping Jesus Christ, reaching the lost, growing disciples and equipping ministers. We are passionately doing this through prayer, praise, worship, fellowship, stewardship, teaching, preaching and serving each other. Our common objective is demonstrate the love of Christ by meeting the needs of our inner city, neighbors and the world beyond – because we recognize that the poor and oppressed of our society are at the center of Christ’s mission (Matthew 25: 31-46 and Luke 4:18,19).

As a multicultural and multigenerational missional congregation we are a part of the Church of God (evangelical Christian denomination within the classical pentecostal movement of the holiness tradition).

We are an inner city family of faith passionately worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ while demonstrating His love for the least, the last and the lost as we reachunbelievers, equip and empower disciples and release our members to serve. We use multiple means to introduce our Lord and His church to our family, neighbors and workmates. We answer His prayer for unity (in The Gospel of Saint John Chapter 18) by serving as a faith-based nonprofit and ecumenical mission to help the poor with their physical, spiritual and emotional needs as we seek meaningful ways to come together for fellowship, worship and service with Churches from different traditions.
