What is the YWCA Emergency Shelter?
The YWCA Emergency Shelter is a 25-bed, safe-haven providing temporary shelter for victims of violence who are in imminent danger. Our shelter clients are welcomed, supported, and provided time to heal during their stay with us. The YWCA has served victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking through crisis services and emergency shelter since 1979.

Who is eligible for YWCA Shelter?
YWCA Emergency Shelter is for those who will fight the pervasive influence of homelessness, poverty, and abuse and are willing to make an empowered decision to rise and become a productive community member who understands that the decision to create a better life rests entirely on them.
